So I didn`t even make it to the final destination (lake district) because the police blocked off the route, so after 1200kms+ of driving we had to turn around...
Well it wasn`t all at the same time, we stayed with my host family`s family in Neuquen for a few days then set off for a 500km journey to Bariloche.
So it was cold, it snowed and that pretty much wrecked the journey.
But then on the way back the father decided to take the road to Mendoza (Wine capital of South America) and that turned out pretty nice, it`s an amazingly beautiful city.
I think it`s a definate pit stop when visiting Argentina.
Anyway, i`ll have to return again in the future to see the south.
